The Jaivik production team standing together inside their Kathmandu workshop

jaivik movement

jaivik sprouts.

your idea. our hands. natural fibres.

the opening

our first jaivik movement blend is still being completed and verified. so how can we offer our tribe a closer look into our movement before we have our own garments to sell? so while our blend grows, we are opening jaivik production to 10 local artists, movers and creators. jaivik sprouts gives you the opportunity to create your dream garment using unique, high-quality natural fibres.

you don't need to be a trained designer. bring us a sketch, a reference image, an old garment you want to reinvent—or simply an idea. together, we will explore what is possible, select the appropriate materials, develop the pattern and bring your piece to life through the hands of our production team in nepal.

the experience

from sketch to skin.

each of the 10 participants will experience the complete creation process:

  • creative consultation
  • natural-fibre selection
  • design and feasibility development
  • individual patternmaking
  • construction by jaivik production
  • fitting and finishing
  • a transparent breakdown of where the money goes

by creating 10 completely different garments, we can personally demonstrate jaivik production's transparency, craftsmanship and adaptability across different styles, functions and forms.

you receive the opportunity to bring your dream garment to life. we receive the opportunity to learn, adapt and show what transparent production can look like.

the breakdown

transparent pricing.

each commission will be priced with a 50% gross margin.

we have chosen this margin specifically for the sprouts programme because it is designed to give local artists access to natural materials, individual design support, pattern development and ethical production—not to extract the highest possible profit from their creativity.

your breakdown will show the costs of:

  • materials
  • pattern development
  • labour and construction
  • finishing
  • shipping and associated costs
  • jaivik's operating margin
  • the contribution to nepal flood relief

ten percent of every commission price will be donated to the ifrc nepal flash floods 2026 appeal to support flood recovery in nepal. we will publish evidence of the final contribution.

ten artists. ten original garments.

this is more than custom clothing. it is a chance to understand the hands, materials and true costs behind what you wear—while creating something that could only belong to you.

while our blend grows, nepal rebuilds—and the tribe creates.
